The Spirit of Perversion

The Body of Christ has been infiltrated by the Spirit of Perversion at an all time high. The issue has been brush under the rug for years and our children and congregations are tripping over the rugs. We as the remnant, have to take a stand against this wickedness. This is something that should not be taken lightly.

What is Perversion? Perversion is the alteration of something from its original course, meaning, or state to a distortion or corruption of what was first intended. When God established the Church, He had Jesus’ bride in mind. The Church, as known as the Ecclesia, - the set apart, called out ones, responsibility is to be living sacrifices, having Jesus at the center of our hearts.

We live in a world where the sanctity of marriage is undermined and the roles of Husband and Wife have been removed. God created this structure of marriage, so that families could have a solid foundation to build on. And we have changed God’s intended plan to fit our limited understanding. We build families out of order and wonder why the success rate is low.

The Husband is the covering for the house as he is submitted to God. And the wife is submitted under the husband. Yet, for the Body of Christ we do not take the same approach. Jesus is the head of the Body of Christ and we submit to Him.

The church has allowed several mistresses in this relationship and Jesus is approaching us as He did the woman at the well. “You have many husbands, and the one you’re with is not your husband.” Jesus is very kind. But please Church, please do not take His kindness for granted. A time will come where you will not be able to surrender to His mercy.

What mistresses? Idolary, Hatred, Murder, Envy, to name a few. We have lost focus the mission at hand. We all would be going to hell, if not but for the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus. This is something not to take lightly. It is an honor to receive the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus. Something He gave His live for. Something He bled for. Something we should honor by surrendering the things He does not want in His marriage. And it’s not like Jesus isn’t faithful. We are the unfaithful ones, yet He still shows up for us and our loved one.

I really wish we for a second could understand how it breaks His heart to see that He gave His everything for us yet we can’t surrender our everything for Him. He wants to be there for us but we have allowed idols to distract us from the love He wants to give us. He knows we are broken, that’s why He came for us. To mend us and redeem us. He wants us new but we can’t keep going back to old ways of thinking, acting and living thinking Jesus is pleased, because He is not.
